Self Myofascial Release with Foam Rollers is a tool-assisted self massage technique that, through the application of pressure to muscles and to myofascia, promotes the inhibition of myofascial restrictions. Some of the various positive effects attributed to treatments with Foam Rollers include the increase of joint range of motion, the correction of muscular imbalances, the relief of muscle spasms and the alleviation of musculoskeletal pain. Due to their numerous therapeutic impacts in the myofascial  system, Foam Rollers are used nowadays widely for the enhancement of athletic performance and for the prevention and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal dysfunctions. For these reasons they constitute an indispensable tool for fitness instructors, athletic trainers and sports rehabilitation specialists. The seminar will be focused on the presentation of the theoretical principles of myofascial ihnibition and on the teaching of effective application techniques for full-body treatments with Foam Rollers.
